Queen Margaret Bridge

The bridge seen today was built during 1926-29 by Thomas Somers & Considere Constructions Ltd, engineers at a cost of £108,424. it consists of a reinforced concrete segmental arch with semicircular arches for footpaths on both sides. The concrete is faced with red Comcockle sandstone, and there are solid red Peterhead granite parapets. The main span is 135 feet 6 inches long.
